Museum de Zwarte Tulp, located in Lisse, was founded in 1985 by private initiative. It is mainly the members of the Guild of the Black Tulip – entrepreneurs and private individuals who are passionate about the heritage and culture of the Flower Bulb Region.
Gildemeester Bollenstreek plays a crucial role in promoting innovative developments and promoting the Bulb Region to put this unique area even more prominently on the map. We are currently busy with the ‘GIANT TULIP BULBS’ project.
Heemskerk has been actively committed to the realization of an impressive Giant Tulip on the Wilgendam, located in the heart of the Langeveld, where Heemskerk has its head office. This initiative contributes to strengthening the identity of the region and creating a unique experience for both residents and visitors. More info
Proeftuin van Holland, in addition Heemskerk has exhibited a testing ground of our plants in the middle of the Green Heart of the Netherlands, allowing the region to serve as a lively showcase of the diversity and beauty of our perennials. More info
Sortimentstuin Harry van der Laar, in 2012 the Harry van de Laar Sortiments Garden Foundation was founded in 2012 at the initiative of the Kring Boskoop associations of the Dutch Association of Tree Growers and the Royal Boskoopse Cultures Association, with the aim of preserving the assortment garden of the Tree Nursery Experimental Station for the future. Heemskerk will again participate at the new location in Boskoop, allowing visitors to enjoy the beautiful varieties.

Bollenstreek in Bedrijf, in 2023 Heemskerk participated in Bollenstreek in Bedrijf. During the open day, local residents, residents of the Bulb Region and tourists will have the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes at the agricultural companies. In this way, the environment becomes more involved in agricultural entrepreneurship in the Dune and Bulb Region. More info
