Jury chairman Aad van der Knaap and Maurice Wubben, manager of The Green House, presented the prizes during this ceremony. The three best-rated entries per product group received a Floriade Award in the colors gold, silver or bronze and a corresponding certificate. The products were assessed by a jury of experts composed of people with different backgrounds in the chain, from production to marketing.

Jury report Hosta ‘First Blush’: Beautiful, very striking and uniform leaves.

Hosta ‘First Blush®’ is the first red-leaved Hosta. First Blush is bred by Bob Solberg (North Carolina, USA). Heemskerk Vasteplanten works closely with Solberg and has the exclusive sales license for this variety.
